Well, I've gotten the sides sewn up, and the handles too. Now, for the most annoying thing I have ever done, turning the fabric right side out on each handle ... why did I think this would be faster than just ironing in the sides a little?!? Oh well, at least by the end of tonight they should all be sewn up! :) I love these!!!

  1. I have a special tool that you slip into the "tube" of the fabric, catch the fabric with the little hook (on the tool) and pull through - it works like a charm!! I bought mine at Joann's - it's in with all the notions. Here's the link:

Love how the bag turned out!!

  2. Okay, try this........

Knot a piece of string on one end longer than the item you are turning.

Fold it into the handle you are stitching with the knot on the outside edge. Stitch across catching the fabric in the seam and making sure you do not stitch through the string sew the side of your handle.

Then all you have to do is pull the string and the handle turns itself outside..........

    Great idea.............
